At Tudor Raj quality is never compromised in any way. The actual time to cook food may vary, especially during busy times. We do not serve pre-cooked food and only use fresh ingredients and the finest herbs and spices. So we requeste our customers to allow us extra time for cooking.

If you have any food or ingredient intolerances, please mention that to our member of staff at the time you order. However, as we prepare food in an environment where nuts and dairy products are regularly used, we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes will be totally free of such products even if they are not used in a particular dish.
Beleived to be the oldest pub or coaching inn in the town, dating from 1595, The Grapes Inn continued to trade as a public house alongside The Grapes Pub until late 1999.
Originally the building was classed as an open hall house with gables added in the 16th century when the property was given an upper floor. It still features the original plank door with moulded mountings and iron strap hinges.
The ambience of the building very much remains in the Tudor era with original beams, low ceilings, door frames and our very own resident ghost.
The finest Indian Cuisine and excellent customer service however, live very much in the present!
